Name, date of event/dinner, number of people in your party and if you are celebrating something in particular.
What if we have food allergies?
I will work with you to make sure you can have an alternative option with the same high standard as the original dish.
How much does an event cost?
There are many factors that can lower or higher the price per person such as menu choices, dining style or number of people. I personally will explain and give each client different options and price points depending on what they are looking for.
What are the different dining styles?
There are two main styles, restaurant/fine dining style and a more casual family style type meal. The restaurant style consists of coursed out, individually plated dinners/events. For family style the same menus can be served in the center of the table or buffet and is self served. Both options include plates, silverware, napkins, a server and kitchen cleanup afterwards.
How does your pricing breakdown work?
I will give you a quote of a menu with a price per person. Sergio provided clear instructions on where to meet from our cruise ship. He drove us to La Bufadora while pointing out interesting information about Ensenada and the surrounding area. We walked through the shopping area, where he made recommendations for lunch and vendors, and took a few pictures along the way. Sergio led us to La Bufadora and offered some facts about the site. We didn’t feel rushed at all as he told us to take our time exploring the area, and we later met him back at his car. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! Sergio was a great driver and guide, and we would highly recommend going on this tour.

We had such an amazing experience with our tour guide! Jorge took us to La Bufadora and the historic center where the margarita was invented, and made the entire day unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, relatable, honest, and so knowledgeable—you can really tell he’s passionate about history, people, and travel. He picked us up right on time, provided transportation, water, and snacks, and made everything super easy and comfortable. He even gave us the option to have our own space, but honestly he was so cool and easy to talk to that we wanted him with us the whole time. On top of that, Jorge took beautiful photos of me and my boyfriend, which we really appreciated. He truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. Highly recommend—he made the tour incredible!

Reserved a private wine tour with Luigi and would definitely recommend it! Luigi was very attentive, knowledgeable, funny and also very familiar with not only the vineyards, but the rich history behind wine, and valle de Guadalupe. From start to finish Luigi was accommodating picking us up from our hotel which was a very bumpy dirt road, but he made it seem like a walk in the park, to taking us throughout the tour without any rush and ensuring we had the best experience at each vineyard. Overall 5/5, they offer different options one which included beer and taco tour which I’ll have to do next time, but regardless the package you choose it’ll be fun!

Last minute plans that totally worked out. From the time I made the call to when we were picked up, it was literally less than an hour which was super impressive. We visited 3 wineries and loved every single one. The wineries were beautiful and the wines were wonderful. The day felt relaxed and well paced. Our driver Adrian was fabulous. He was super friendly, a safe driver, and he speaks English fluently which made everything easy and comfortable. Big shout out to Eugenia as well for doing a fantastic job organizing the tour from start to finish. If you are in Ensenada and want a seamless wine route experience without the stress of planning, this is a great option. I would absolutely do this again.

We had booked a tour in Ensenada with admittedly low expectations. Luckily for us we decided to book the Bufadora tour and even better we were lucky to have Jorge as a guide. He sent information the day before with clear directions and photos of where to meet. It was a short 10 minute walk from the Princess cruise ship. Jorge was early and met us as promised. He has a nice comfortable SUV and to our delight we were on a private tour with just the 2 of us. Jorge has a great ability to tell stories and is able to be humorous and an all around great guy. He stopped at a couple fo photo opportunities and was always willing to take our pictures. The Bufadora was a sight today! Lots of action. There was a market to shop in on the way. Jorge even recommended a wonderful restaurant that itself became a highlight of the day. Considering that we were thinking of just staying on the ship, Jorge’s tour became the best part of our cruise. Highly recommended! AA++

We had the pleasure of being guided by Eugenia on our recent wine tasting tour in Valle and it truly exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, Eugenia was incredibly knowledgeable about both the wines and the regions we visited. She not only shared insightful details about the different wine varieties but also provided fascinating background on the vineyards and the wine-making process. What really stood out, though, was how kind and attentive she was throughout the tour. She made us feel welcome and at ease, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making the experience enjoyable for everyone. She took us to some of the most unique and charming places, away from the usual touristy spots, giving us the chance to taste incredible wines in intimate, beautiful settings. Each stop felt like a hidden gem, and we learned so much about the culture and craftsmanship behind each bottle we sampled. We can't recommend this tour enough! If you're looking for a memorable, well-curated experience, be sure to book this trip you won't be disappointed

This trip was really great, and comfortable. Jorge was amazing. He was available right where he said to meet, and was even early, and waiting since we were 10 minutes early ourselves. Jorge took the 2 of us in a car to La Bufadora. He took us to a couple of stores with local artists, and knew the best places to shop. We beat the tour busses, to the location, and it was very relaxing (until it got crowded when most big tours arrived after us.) He provided some snacks and bottled water for my wife and I, and took us to eat at a local place for fish tacos. Really great trip, and we highly recommend Jorge as your guide. He spoke fluent English, and told us about the history of the area as well.

It is my first time visiting Valle de Guadalupe. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and booked several tours. From meeting our driver at the Mexican border, to every single daily tour we took in the 4 days we were there, we felt safe and taken care of. Luigi is very knowledgeable about the area and took us to some amazing wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and Ojos Negros. They provided us with ice cold water and snacks for the ride every day. Very punctual, and comfortable vehicles. Our experience was excellent. I highly recommend them!

Excellent tour. Eugenia was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of useful information. We visited 3 wineries and had lunch at a 4th. What I really appreciated was the fact that they honored my booking regardless of the fact that I was the only one on the tour. Just keep in mind, the cost of the wine tastings are not included, and each winery has its own price list. Luckily most wineries accept payment by card.

My parents and I booked this tour on 06/26/2025 because on 06/25/2024, I booked a La Bufadora tour with The Wine Route and enjoyed it. On a day that would turn out to be about 80 degrees Fahrenheit (not too bad), we met Luigi and Teseo, our tour guides, around 10 a.m. in our hotel lobby and went into their sedan. My dad and I were given goody bags with snacks in them as well as water bottles, and all of us headed to Luigi and Teseo's house to pick up my mom's goody bag. This was due to a cancellation for just my mom that we made the night before, and Eugenia was prompt in taking care of it. However, my mom decided to go last minute, so we had to call Eugenia and tell her that she decided to go, and there was no problem. Our trip alone cost us about $225.After about an hour of driving, we visited three wineries (in chronological order): (1) Bodegas de Santo Tomás - Cava San Antonio de las Minas, (2) Relieve Vinicola and (3) Barón Balch'é. For Bodegas de Santo Tomás, we took a full tour, which was quite impressive with the short video presentations and our guide's in-depth explanations of their history and wine making process. She was fluent in English and was generous with the amount of wine we could consume, and the whole tour lasted about an hour and a half. On top of all that, she was very generous with the tour price since she decided to give a discount for just my mom since she hardly drink any wine, so we paid around 1300 pesos ($70).For Relieve, we did not stay very long there (about 50 minutes), and I was already getting tipsy, but we decided to get a glass of wine just for myself and a bottle of wine to take home. At this point, I was drunk, so I decided to not consume any more wine. I think the glass was about $15, and the bottle was about $50.For Barón, we did a short tour with no wine tastings (lasted about 40 minutes), and it came out to about $15. Again, the guide was fluent and spoke vividly about their wine making process. The vineyard had a nice backdrop outside where my parents and I took our photos. Finally, we headed to a high-end restaurant called Decantos Vinicola for lunch (it was already 3 p.m.). I remember getting a lamb with vegetables dish, which was excellent. I believe my parents got some meat and seafood dishes. The meal was around $125 in total, which was great. We drove for an hour back to our hotel. My parents and I were quite pleased with the service and kindness of Luigi and Teseo for keeping us engaged and sharing their knowledge with us. There were no issues throughout the whole experience, and everything was smooth and enjoyable.

The tour was amazing! Eugenia and Rick met us at a beautiful Cultural Center near the cruise terminal that was just a short walk. Rick took my husband and I on a customized tour since we really wanted to visit El Cielo Vineyard and we wanted to have grilled octopus on this day. Rick catered to us the entire time! He took us to amazing wineries including El Cielo which was breathtaking. We did their underground cellars wine tasting with 4 great wines plus a “Mexican champagne “ they make there! They explain everything so well. The underground cellars are breathtaking ! Eugenia made an amazing recommendation to try the chocolate wine pairing. Absolutely amazing and must do!!! We enjoyed our day to the fullest and can’t wait to come back and try other wineries in the Guadalupe Valley with this company. Oh and Rick took great pics of us! Absolutely recommend this company for a complete Guadalupe Valley wine tasting tour at the greatest value!!🙏🏽❤️ Thank you!! We will return!❤️🍷🍷
